SIPI Functional Safety Database Reaches Critical Mass

A primary aim of the SIPI Project is to collate material relating to IEC61508 and to Functional Safety issues in general and to make this material, or references to it, available to the Process Industry sector.

The database now consists of hundreds of papers, presentations, worked examples and other material, most of which can be directly downloaded from the site. The material also covers most of the lifecycle phases and can be searched by key word or phrase to find relevant guidance, making this a valuable and unique source of information and guidance an Functional Safety issues.

Whilst most papers are in English, papers in a number of other European languages are also available.
